In the year 2000 there was a coup in Fiji, his birth country. Feeling God's prompting, in within a week found himself on the way to Fiji. He could not understand how Christians, for whatever reason, could be involved with, and justify, the use of violence. 

Through his coup experience in Fiji he began to put together some spiritual insights concerning the two trees in the Garden of Eden. As he delved further into his studies, he came to realize that each tree represented a complete and separate system of laws operating in the universe at the present time.

It quickly became apparent that the trees' associations with life and death meant that the Tree of Life was a representation of God's kingdom, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil of Satan's kingdom of death. As a result, it became clear that these two kindgoms are completely separate and do not intersect. The obvious conclusion is that God is not at all involved with death for, as it is stated in Hebrews 2: 14-15, it is the Devil who has the power of death: 

"Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."

Since then, together with his wife Denice Grant, he has penned these findings into three foundational books for the understanding of the two trees.
